Kolkata Ultra Trust (KUT) is a non-profit organization working towards the development of some of India’s top talents in Asian Games and Olympic, through our athlete scholarships and knowledge building programmes. The Trust was launched in 26th July 2019, with the aim to promote sports and provide scholarships to needy athletes of the state. Bengal has produced over the years some of the best runners, swimmers and gymnasts. However, there are many talented athletes out in the districts who do not get enough financial support to continue with their sport as they come from poor families and fail to sustain the financial demands of staying put in seeking sporting excellence. As a result, neither do they get proper diet for an extreme sport like running or even proper training. The poor show of West Bengal in national games is a result of many such cases. Kolkata Ultra Trust is adopting such promising athletes from Bengal every year and supporting them for a period of 3 years through KUT Scholarship Programme. KUT is reaching out to various corporates to fund the Trust and support the programme. Our objective is to help promising yet poor athletes from Bengal participate in National and International Events.

Our Mission
Through our registered Trust, we aim to promote sports and provide scholarships to deserving and needy athletes of the State, on a sustained basis.
It maybe worthwhile to note here that Bengal has produced, over the years, some of the best runners, swimmers and gymnasts. However, there are many talented athletes in the Districts who do not get enough financial support to continue with their sport, as they come from financially challenging backgrounds. Some of them can barely manage requisite meals in a day. As a result, neither do they get proper diet for an extreme sport like running or proper training. Our Vision
To churn out outstanding athletes, year on year, and support them to represent the State in landmark and critical Championships, pan India.
With our select first batch of athletes, our aim will be to push them to train and compete in the upcoming 39th National Games scheduled to be held in Meghalaya in 2022
